  34. Since this corresponds extremely closely to the classic 1951 short story
  35. "Breeds there a Man...?", written by Isaac Asimov, and available in the
  36. collections "Nightfall and Other Stories" and "Nightfall One", I'd say
  37. there's a significant chance that you read either this story or a reference
  38. to this story, and now you remember it as an historical event.
