  32.     You know, I'm really astounded that anyone would seriously advance
  33. such an argument. It's like saying that the _lack_ of evidence for a crime
  34. is therefore _evidence_ for how clever the criminal is.

  36.     Until you can find proof that child-sacrificing Satanists are using
  37. adoption programs to obtain sacrificial babies, the above statement is
  38. paranoid nonsense.

  56.     The above paragraph has so many things wrong with it that I don't
  57. know where to begin. Throughout, the assumption that there are networks of
  58. child-sacrificing Devil-worshippers seems taken as a given by Mr. Canzi-- an
  59. assumption that has never been proven, and for which there is considerable
  60. reason to doubt.

  62.     Mr. canzi also seems to be responding to others pointing out the
  63. lack of evidence for Satan-worshippers killing babies, by claiming that
  64. because there's no evidence, that just goes to show how extensive and
  65. powerful these Satanists are. By the same logic, we might easily assume that
  66. Mr. Canzi is a Satan-worshipper, covering up his own involvement in child
  67. murder by adopting a more strident, anti-'Satanist' tone.

  70. the Church of Satan do not murder children.
