- Actually, by definition 50% are below the *median*. It is only because
- the distribution is approximately "normal" that about 50% are below
- average. Sure I'm picky, but we're talking about well educated
- people so I'm allowed to be picky.

- Seriously though, I do think it is depressing that TV has only got
- NOVA and that is written at a rather low level of sophistication.
- I would love to see a science show for people at the level of education
- and intelligence we are talking about here, but I'm not holding my
- breath waiting for it.
