  15.                     A Leadership Development Workshop
  16.               for college and university physics faculty members

  18.             To be held at the United States Air Force Academy, 
  19.                            Colorado Springs, CO
  20.                               June 13-25, 1993
  21. Purposes
  22.      The purposes of this workshop are to:

  24. i) foster discussions of new strategies for the teaching of physics 
  25. using the capabilities of interactive digitized video technology.
  26.  
  27. ii) enable you to become skilled in the use of interactive digitized 
  28. video technologies for teaching physics courses for undergraduates.
  29.  
  30. iii) help you develop lessons to improve the learning of physics using
  31. the existing software and technologies. 
  32.  
  33. iv) prepare you to lead local, regional, or national workshops on 
  34. teaching college science using interactive digitized video 
  35. technologies. 
  36.  
  37. v) make the new physics course-related interactive digitized video 
  38. lessons developed by the workshop participants available to physics 
  39. educators throughout the country.
