  31. The European Community Parliament is looking for an ideology of cultural
  32. unity for the twelve countries separated by languages and many other
  33. differences.

  35. A Scientific Board of top quality scholars coming from both the "Exact
  36. Sciences" and "Human and Social Sciences" is now being established by Dr.
  37. Paul A. Gerome of Geneva, Switzerland. Dr. Jerome received his Ph.D. under
  38. Levi-Straus.

  40. He is now in San Francisco speaking to scientists who are potential faculty
  41. enroute to Los Angeles, Hawaii and Japan. He will return to San Francisco
  42. on Feb 20, 1993.

  44. The first official act will be an International Conference using multimedia
  45. and telepresence. The recording of the Conference will be broadcast by
  46. satellite. The Scientific Board members will define the new hybrid sciences
  47. and give them names.

  49. The second act will be the creation of  a detailed script on multi-media CD
  50. ROM of the available knowledge on these cross-border disciplines and a
  51. computer programme for students. In addition, a document will be produced
  52. to define the further researches to be realised under the direction of each
  53. hybrid scientist who will be receiving grants.

  55. These grants will be used to create more television programs and
  56. interactive computer programs and to broadcast the information on these
  57. hybrid sciences worldwide through satellite channels.
