  13.         WHAT TO DO ABOUT A BROKEN TOOTH???

  15. My sister injured her front upper tooth as a child.  
  16. The nerve in the tooth atrophied and died over the years.  
  17. Now the problem is that the whole tooth fell out.  She had 
  18. it "glued" in, but it is not a long-term solution.

  20. She is looking for a conservative, long-term solution.  
  21. She was told about teeth that are "screwed" into the bone of the 
  22. tooth socket.  However, she was told that this is painful, and 
  23. may have other problems associated with it.  She mentioned 
  24. another solution ( a partial??) maybe, but I can't 
  25. remember at the moment.

  27. I am posting this hoping for some information, or someone with 
  28. a similar experience.  She is looking for the most conservative 
  29. approach possible (i.e. no surgery, or painful prosthetics, etc.)

  31. Please excuse my incomplete knowledge of the dental technology and
  32. terminology.  I'm hoping some one can supply some information, or 
  33. resource I could investigate.
