- No, but it is just as dangerous. If you backslide and start to smoke
- occasionally while on the patch, it could be more dangerous. There is
- some controversy about how helpful the patch really is. It is possible
- to quit without it, of course. I don't think you'll find a reputable
- doctor to give you the patch with your peripheral vascular disease.
