  30.     This is emphatically NOT a plug for GNC, but I do know (because I
  31.     know someone who works at the local franchise) that GNC sells, or
  32.     at least can order, empty capsules.  The ones I've seen were size 0
  33.     and made from non-animal components (if that's important).  Of course,
  34.     you can also buy just plain gelatin (often sold as "nail hardener")
  35.     in capsules, dump the contents, and fill the empties with anything
  36.     you like (I use this process to "pill" my cat).

  38.     As for filling them. try folding a relatively smooth piece of
  39.     paper in half, pouring the filler into the crease, and then tapping
  40.     the paper gently while you hold the end of the fold in the open end
  41.     of the capsule.
