- One center would be M.D. Anderson Cancer Center of the
- University of Texas in Houston, Texas. Dr. Jack A. Roth,
- M.D., one of their prominent surgeons and researchers, was
- a speaker at last year's Society of Surgical
- Oncologists, where he spoke about "Molecular Surgery for
- Cancer", with particular emphasis on lung cancers.
-
- For other centers with experimental protocols, you could
- contact the Society of Surgical Oncology at:
- 13 Elm Street
- Manchester, MA 01944
- (508) 526-8330
- (508) 526-4018

- The clinical stage of your relative's cancer, along with the
- histological type of tumor and the extent of spread, would be
- information you need to have up front. This info will help
- them decide whether your relative meets criteria for any of
- the current protocols. Good luck with all of this.
