- Sprains vary quite a lot in severity, so general guidelines are always
- fuzzy. If the sprain was substantial, it could well take two weeks,
- uncommonly more, until it can be used for most things without pain, and
- longer until it is back to full strength. 6 days is not at all unusual.
- If after two weeks it is still just as painful as it is now, you should
- see a doctor again; sometimes one cannot see certain small fractures
- on first examination. This is unlikely, though; you probably just need
- more time to heal.
