- In any case, I wasn't specific enough in my original query, so I'm
- reposting with more information:

- My friend wants to be able to create local data-bases (titles/authors/abstracts)
- as well as search Medline format data. He says he can upload Medline records
- from his University to his PC. He also says he has heard of a program/package
- called LARS which gives him at least part of these abilities, but he is not
- sure if it is Medline "compatable", or if it has its own format. He'd like
- a program which can read both formats (if there are two), but understanding
- Medline is a pre-requisite.
