  13. In any case, I wasn't specific enough in my original query, so I'm
  14. reposting with more information:

  16. My friend wants to be able to create local data-bases (titles/authors/abstracts)
  17. as well as search Medline format data.  He says he can upload Medline records
  18. from his University to his PC.  He also says he has heard of a program/package
  19. called LARS which gives him at least part of these abilities, but he is not
  20. sure if it is Medline "compatable", or if it has its own format.  He'd like
  21. a program which can read both formats (if there are two), but understanding
  22. Medline is a pre-requisite.
