  15.   As a classification of mental disorders, DSM-III is a joke. It wa
  16.   put together by committe's votes which is not the way to construct
  17.   a reliable taxonomy. This caucas-committee concoction has low
  18.   reliability ( interjudge aggreement ) for most of its categories
  19.   and it is full of logical contradictions. It does not help the
  20.   practitioner decide what treatment is best for the patient and it
  21.   is useless for research. Its main use is in writing down a number
  22.   on a re-embursement insurance form.
