- Well, PPA is commonly used to treat urinary incontinence in some
- adults, usually women. Ornade "spansules", PPA+chlorpheniramine
- (an antihistamine), has been used also; both the adrenergic PPA
- and the anticholinergic antihistamine reduce the tone of the bladder,
- making it less able to contract. I'd imagine one reason Dexatrim is so
- "dangerous" in dogs is that its dose is for a 50kg human being.
