  29. Just to clarify, it isn't a case of some nomenclature committee deciding
  30. it's time to rename _Boa constrictor_ to something less euphonius, just
  31. a realization that the agreed upon rules give some other name priority.
  32. The committees are empowered to make exceptions, which they did with BC.
  33. Why they haven't done this with Brontosaurus or Eohippus, I haven't the
  34. foggiest.
