- I'm looking for advice on how to best use Steffen's method (as described in
- Astronomy and Astrophysics 239, 443-450, 1990) to interpolate some 1-d data
- that happens to contain "blocked" or "missing" data points.

- I'm not sure how to handle these flagged values, and I'd like to know how
- others who have had a similar problem managed to get around it.
