- I've lived north of Rocky Flats for almost 20 years now. I'm sure
- that they consider plutonium valuable, too, but that sure hasn't
- prevented a number of releases. Estimates of plutonium in the ventilation
- ducts have resulted in figures in excess of 60 pounds. It would appear
- that value of the material alone isn't enough to guarantee proper handling.
