  13. AutoCAD has taken a defacto "standard" position in the PC 
  14. CAD world for mechanical work.  I have never tried it, though.

  16. My wife has Generic CADD on our PC at home and I think it 
  17. stinks for any practical use.  Of course I may be biased
  18. by using a NICE 3-dimensional workstation package.

  20. You might try Hewlett-Packard's ME10d.  It is a 2-dimension 
  21. PC based version of the workstation package that I use. 
  22. I really like the construction line features.
