- I need to protect a pinch point on an enclosure that I've developed
- for X-Radiation testing. The best solution I've seen is two light
- curtains at right angles -- to protect both the side approach and
- the top approach to the pinch point.
-
- I have information on two vendors and I'd like comments on what other
- vendors may have good products and any actual usage information you
- might have on the vendors I do know about.
-
- Scientific Technologies, Inc (STI) is proposing use of their
- FlexSafe(tm) product. It would use one device, consisting of
- two segments to cover the side and top.
-
- Data Instruments/Wintriss Controls Group is proposing two of
- their Shadow V(tm) Light Curtain, one for the side, the
- other for the top.
-
- An initial pass at the spec sheets and quotations give the edge to STI --
- but I have no reliability or usage experience with either. I would
- appreciate comments. If requested I will post/e-mail a summary.
-
- Thank you for any help.
