- Sorry Gary but I don't buy your logic on this one. Just because the
- average miles driven per year per auto is 12,000 that doesn't mean that
- the average SHORT TRIP is greater than 6 miles. In the 12,000 mile
- average is LONG TRIPS also, like when one takes a drive to Phoenix
- from Tucson. SO lets try to talk about short trips not yearly averages.
