- My major interests have shifted (finally, after 20 years), and I have an
- ENORMOUS amount of electronics stuff for sale. I am interested in selling
- everything as A SINGLE LOT. Purchaser must live nearby; I WILL NOT SHIP
- ANYWHERE. Close-to-home purchasers can get my help moving the stuff, if
- necessary. A pickup truck or _large_ car/station wagon will be necessary
- if done in 1 trip. I live near Highway 85/280 junction in Sunnyvale, CA.
-
- For Sale:
-
- Equipment (100s of $$ in value):
-
- Phillips 25 MHz Dual Trace Oscilloscope (no manual)
- 2 ProbeMaster 100 MHz probes (new)
- Miscellaneous adaptors, cables, and connectors
-
- Lab Supply: Dual 0 - 20 VDC, 1 Amp, isolated
- linear design, My Own Design. Built ca 1977.
- 10-Turn calibrated voltage adjustment
- 1 Amp current limit
- Thermal-controlled fan automatically turns on when needed
-
- Lab Supply: Variac/Transformer/Bridge/Capacitor
- 2 Amp (I think).
- home-built
- Ideal for Brute-Force applications -- unregulated
- 0 - +/- 30 volts DC (I think)
-
- Multimeter -- Analog Volts-Ohms-Amps
- Radio Shack 36K/Volt meter. Hot stuff in 1975!
- Original box, cables, etc. Works great.
- (PS: I am keeping my DMM, thank you)
-
- Computer: Radio Shack Color Computer II
- Complete with MUCH software, full schematics and
- full line of accessories. Great for experimenting; lousy computer.
-
- Components (1000s of devices!):
- NOTE: Most components are used, but in full operational condition.
- All components come in organized storage cabinets.
-
- Semiconductors:
- Diodes of ALL types including Tunnel Diodes, 4-Layer diodes, etc.
- Rectifiers: many types to 15000V and 20 A (exclusively)
- Transistors: many types, including RF, Power, small-signal, FETs,
- Dual-Gate MOSFETs, etc.
- Specialty devices: UJT, PUT, SCR, etc.
-
- Optoelectronics components (visible/IR):
- Note: I have a monochromator (not for sale [yet anyway]) which
- the purchaser may use to determine the wavelengths of interest
- for these components.
- Phototransistors
- LEDs
- Laser Diodes
- Pyroelectric Detectors (NEAT!)
- Photo-FETs
- Photo-SCRs
- Phototubes
- Photomultiplier tubes
- Tuning "eye" tubes
- more.
-
- ICs:
- MANY TTL (mostly LS), CMOS logic, linear devices, including A/D and
- D/A converters, references, etc. Literally 100s of types.
-
- Passive devices:
- Resistors -- all tolerances and power ratings.
- Capacitors -- WIDE selection
- Inductors -- small, but reasonable selection
- Transformers -- some RF; mostly power types.
-
- Misc:
- Piezo components
- Connectors
- Switches
- wire, cable
-
- Literature (100s of pounds of books!):
-
- Data Books, Data sheets, etc. to die for. Many one-of-a-kind components
- are complete described. Many of the obsolete components are present
- in my early-1970s books.
-
- Hobby books: full selection of project ideas, etc. Many texts. I have
- a copy of the original General Electric Transistor Manual, excellent
- guide to understanding UJTs, SCRs, and Tunnel Diodes in the finest
- detail.
-
- Stuff:
- Heat sinks
- project boxes
- more than I can think of right now.
-
-
- These materials are a hobbyist/experimenter's dream. Many of the devices are
- very difficult to obtain today and produce very simple designs for important
- tasks. I have several "extras" like a radiosonde, a 1950s portable vacuum
- tube radio (works, antique!), and more.
-
- All one lot: $1500 FIRM cash 'n carry. I will assist in delivery if nearby.
- Note: if the price sounds too high (I think it is low, myself), please advise.
-
- Please contact me by E-Mail only. Serious offers only, please.
