- Hello everyone! I'm working (slowly working anyway) on building a Head
- Mounted Display (HMD) for messing around with some virtual reality. I
- have worked out some plans for a circut to split the VGA signals created
- by my computer to get a brightness output and the horizontal and vertical
- outputs to each one of these two viewfinders I bought at an Electronics
- shop. Basically the red goes to one eye, the green to another, copy the
- syncs. Anyway, the problem I am having is that I have no idea what the
- pin connections are on the view finders I bought (hey, for $4 a pop, ya
- can't go wrong). These are somewhat standard looking panasonic video
- camera viewfinders with the lenses, plastic case, little B/W tv and a
- circut board. The only thing I have to go by is the serial number on the
- circut board. It has the little Matsushita symbol all over it and the
- following numbers:
- VRYD150J5B (on the front and back)
- GCMK-20X (on the back)
- There are two green connectors coming off of the circut board. One
- has three wires and the other has 9 wires.
- There's also a metal box (some sort of shielding I suppose) that has
- the following number on it:
- X-C0079S and then 62 03101 below it.
-
- Any help with this would be GREATLY appreciated. Oh, how many scan lines?
