  10.   Hi there,
  11.    My parents television has developed a flicker. The set is about six
  12.   years old, and color. After about 30 minutes of usage, the flicker
  13.   vanishes and the picture returns to normal. Also, when first powered
  14.   on, the flicker is constant for approx. five minutes. When present,
  15.   the flicker turns the picture whitish, dullens the color, and the
  16.   picture has about ten horizontal lines across itself (20 inch set).
  17.   After the first half hour post powering it up, the picture is fine for
  18.   the entire duration until the next powering on.

  20.       Any ideas on what's wrong?
