  16. Is it possible to recharge alkaline cells?  I remember reading
  17. they were rechargeable in one electronics-related book (perhaps
  18. an older Radio Amateurs Handbook?) but never anywhere else.

  20. Can this be done?  Have any of you run into refereces to charging
  21. alkaline cells?  Or tried it?
