  23. Another strong possibility is a bad solder joint for the red drive connection
  24. to the small pcb mounted at the rear of the CRT. It should be labelled "r" or
  25. "red". For some reason there's a high failure rate for solder joints on this
  26. pcb, possibly caused by vibration of the CRT. I fixed a color TV that I scrounged from the neighbor's trash by locating and resoldering two bad solder joints
  27. on this pcb, one of which was the red drive.
