- I'd be surprised if it wasn't 16 bit 4x oversampling, as that was about the
- cheapest stuff in production in 1988. It might only be 2x oversampling, but
- a unit with no oversampling would be expensive to produce.

- Now "1 bit" stuff costs less to manufacture than "normal" D/As, but the
- marketing folks tout it as a feature so they can get more bucks for it :-(
