  21. I'd be surprised if it wasn't 16 bit 4x oversampling, as that was about the
  22. cheapest stuff in production in 1988.  It might only be 2x oversampling, but
  23. a unit with no oversampling would be expensive to produce.

  25. Now "1 bit" stuff costs less to manufacture than "normal" D/As, but the
  26. marketing folks tout it as a feature so they can get more bucks for it :-(
