  14. It is easy enough to put together a latch to capture port writes.
  15. Getting the timing right to be able to catch port reads looks harder.

  17. In other words, what I am trying to do is add a small board
  18. that sits on the ISA bus and COMPLETELY TRANSPARENTLY latches
  19. bytes (or words) as they are READ from a port by the processor.

  21. Does anyone have an idea of how to do this?

  23. This doesn't have to be reliable enough to be a commercial product,
  24. but should be reliable enough to provide more information than frustration.
