  12. I have just been hired to teach an "algebra based college physics
  13. course"
  14. at a local community college. This is my first time teaching. The text
  15. is _Physics, Principles with Applications_ by Douglas C. Giancoli.
  16. There are twelve students. About half have had only algebra. Of the
  17. remainder, all have had pre-calculus and one or two have had calculus.

  19.    --> Anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with
  20.        such diverse math backgrounds in a course of this
  21.        type?

  23.    --> Anyone have general suggestions for supplementary

  25.        the PSSC high school book looks good.)
