- There are determinants of inflation other than interest rates. If this were
- not the case, than deflation could not occurr while inflationxxxxxx
- interest existed. But interest has always existed, and deflation has
- appearred, particularly around the great depression, and in the postwar
- era. Other things influence inflation, but htexx the point is that
- interetst rates generate some inflation, even when that influence is
- overshadowed by other things. Eventually, the 2 will settle
- somewhere, as people cannot save everything they make.
