  11. In the recent film the "Addams Family" and also in the cartoon series of the
  12. same, they present the Addams credo (written on the family tombstone) as
  13. saying in Latin:
  14. SIC GORGIAMUS ALLUS SUBJECTATOS NUNC

  16. Supposedly meaning:
  17. We gladly fest on those who would subdue us.

  19. Now, is this Latin inscription supposed to be:
  20. SIC GORGIAMUS ALLOS SUBJECTATUS NUNC?
  21. or is it:
  22. SIC GORGIAMUS ALLUS SUBJECTOS NUNC?
  23. or is it:
  24. SIC GORGIAMUS ALLOS SUBJECTOS NUNC?

  26. In the film, the tombstone reads SUBJECTOS but the character Mortitia says
  27. SUBJECTATUS.

  29. I've gotten myself confused with tense etc. Is there anyone out there with
  30. Latin language familiarity to help me clear the proper way of writing this
  31. Latin Phrase?
