  19. achievable) should be practiced.  ALARA does NOT demand complete
  20. elimination of radiation from the workplace.

  34. This is unfortunate because it makes a mockery of radiation safety.  It
  35. opates those who abstractly fear radiation but for those with some knowledge
  36. of radiological procedures, it is the radiation equivalent of crying
  37. wolf.  Pretty soon the mockery destroys confidence in the system.  People
  38. begin to assume that ALL radiological hygene procedures are "wolf crying"
  39. and ignore them.
