  14.    I have consulted one of our Swedish astronomers, and he tells me that Tycho
  15. fought a duel while he was a student, perhaps in Germany(?). At the time, the epee
  16. or foil dueling swords were not in vogue amongst the Danish nobles, so the duel
  17. was fought with broadswords! That was when his nose was more likely crushed than
  18. lopped off. That's all I know. Sounds like a job for the Creative Anachronism's
  19. folks to me.
