- I have consulted one of our Swedish astronomers, and he tells me that Tycho
- fought a duel while he was a student, perhaps in Germany(?). At the time, the epee
- or foil dueling swords were not in vogue amongst the Danish nobles, so the duel
- was fought with broadswords! That was when his nose was more likely crushed than
- lopped off. That's all I know. Sounds like a job for the Creative Anachronism's
- folks to me.
