  20. Oh my gosh!!  You have just named the PREMIER telescope maker in the latter 
  21. half of the nineteenth century.  He was famous for making what is now the 
  22. largest refractor in the world, the 40" at Yerkes Observatory.  I work for 
  23. Chamberlin Observatory, where we have a 20" Clark.  PLEASE, oh PLEASE make 
  24. sure that you know how to clean old telescope optics!!  Just a scratch would 
  25. ruin a great piece of history!!  If you would like a PROFESSIONAL cleaning, 
  26. please feel free to send the optics to me PROTECTED AND INSURED to the 
  27. Denver Museum of Natural History, Gates Planetarium.  2001 Colorado Blvd. 
  28. Denver, CO 80205.  The staff astronomers and opticians would DIE to be able 
  29. to help you out on this wonderful project!
