- I have not yet had a problem with my 9.6V makita, and I've abused it
- considerably--putting up lots of drywall, building a shed (exterior
- 5/8" plywood to 2x4s)... The closest it came to crapping out was
- driving lots of 3-1/2 inch screws through twin 3/4" sheets of plywood
- subfloor into 40-year-old floor joists. That taxed it a bit. I don't
- think the added cost and weight of 12V systems is worth it for the
- kinds of uses I've put the thing through.
