- Well, I am also contemplating getting this saw. I drove up to a
- fellow netter and fellow HP'er's place on Saturday and checked his out
- (Thanks Dave!). I will definitely be buying that saw. The table and
- base are excellent!

- The fence OTOH, leaves much to be desired. It deflects easily, does
- not work very smoothly, has a poor distance sighting mechanism and
- generally is of inferior quality. So I called up Griz and they will
- ship the saw without the fence (Yay!) but will only knock $50 off the
- price for deleting the fence (boo!) But even with a $250 Beismeyer
- added to the cost, I think this saw will come close in capability to
- the Unisaw (copied, but never equalled you know!)
