  13. Scott Smith (freestylist in SkyBlazin 92 whose rig deployed without
  14. his hands moving) describes his trick as the "spiral death trap" or
  15. something like that. His cameraman had a remote control with two
  16. buttons. They left the plane with their feet connected by a strap and
  17. pressing one button released their feet.  Pressing the second button
  18. opened Scott's main remotely. It's a device he made himself, from an
  19. old A.A.D and some parts from Radio Shack (I think). He had lots of
  20. flour in his rig, so what you see is a puff a white smoke and a 
  21. deploying canopy (look, ma, no hands). Think of what would have happened
  22. if the cameraman pressed the buttons in the wrong order!
