- Much as I hate to burst anyone's balloon, I think this is too much. They
- may have been used only once, but they aren't new. I bought a pair of
- Extremes with Marker M48 bindings, all brand new, from a ski specialty
- shop (as opposed to a general sporting goods discount store) for less than
- the price quoted above. The price I paid included mounting by an experienced
- technician and a new ski tune. Of course, the bindings were adjusted to my
- boots.

- The Extreme is an excellent ski which rewards good technique with very nice
- response. They work well on icy steeps and in bumps and crud. They are
- not terribly good cruisers. If you sit on the tails, they'll make you work
- hard.
