Much as I hate to burst anyone's balloon, I think this is too much.  They
may have been used only once, but they aren't new.  I bought a pair of
Extremes with Marker M48 bindings, all brand new, from a ski specialty
shop (as opposed to a general sporting goods discount store) for less than
the price quoted above.  The price I paid included mounting by an experienced
technician and a new ski tune.  Of course, the bindings were adjusted to my
boots.

The Extreme is an excellent ski which rewards good technique with very nice
response.  They work well on icy steeps and in bumps and crud.  They are
not terribly good cruisers.  If you sit on the tails, they'll make you work
hard.
