Last time I was there I went out a few times with Underwater Barbados which
has a dive shop in St. Lawrence Gap which is near where you'll be. They're
on the inland side of the road about 500 yards in when you turn off the coast
road onto the west entrance road into the Gap. They go out several times a
day. There are sveral other operators but haven't dealt with any of them.
There are lots of things to see. you can rent a moke with a US driver's licence
There is a 'castle' up the east coast which is a popular spot although i haven'tbeen. Crane beach is not far from the airport with a nice hotel, beach and
scenery and just west of that beach there is another little used but gorgeous
beach. Trips into Bridgetown and Spieghstown are popular and there is a
tropical garden on an estate near Bridgetown as i recall. Both the south and
west coasts have many dining and night spots.
Maybe we'll see you there. My wife and i will be there Feb 25- March 9.
