- I know of a friend with a bad back ( not a ruptured disk thought, just
- very painful lower back ). She finally was convince by her diver friends to
- see a dive doctor and explain the situation.

- The doctor approved her learning to dive with the proviso that carrying of
- tanks (and weight belts ) should be avoided as much as possible.

- She now has her tanks taken to the shores/boat on a little fold-up trolley.
- On boat dives, bc removed in water, tied to a line and somebody else pulls
- it up.
