- I haven't been to GC so I can't compare it to Virgin Gorda but having
- dived throughout the British Virgin Islands on three separate yacht
- charter trips, I'd recommend it highly. Either Virgin Gorda or Tortola
- (the other main island in the BVI) can serve as your dive base. Both
- have a number of dive operators.
-
- On VG, there's Dive BVI which operates out of two locations, Virgin
- Gorda Yacht Harbor and Leverick Bay up at North Sound. There's also
- a dive op run by the Kilbride family (Bert Kilbride who's now in his
- 70's is a dive legend at least in the BVI) out of their Saba Rock,
- North Sound location. BTW, Saba Rock is also home to the Pirate's
- Pub (also run by the Kilbrides) and is a really great place for
- apres-dive activities.
