- You can take the PADI Underwater Photography course at Riding Rock
- Inn, Sal Salvador, Bahamas. Bob Maar, on of the dive masters at
- the operation is certified to teach the course. It consists of
- one afternoon of classroom work, plus to tutored dives, one deep
- dive (60-80 ft.) with a standard lens, and one shallow dive (~25 ft.)
- with a set of extension tubes for close-up work. The course cost
- is about $160.00 (if I remember correctly). It's best if you've
- already got your own Nikonos, but they'll rent the necessary camera
- gear for a small additional fee. They *do* provide loaner extension
- tubes free of charge as part of the course.
-
- I took it from Bob this last June, and I really got a lot out of
- it. The close-up shots I took are some of the best underwater
- photos I've ever taken.
