  12. Well, ok, the Girl Scouts USA uniform(s).

  14. Note that while Girl Scouting in the USA is a uniformed organization, a girl
  15. is not required to have or wear the uniform.  It is expected that they wear
  16. their membership pin.  I am resorting to rewarding the girls who show up
  17. in uniform with a piece of candy...  (Hey, 2 more bit this week!)

  19. Daisies (age 5, or kindergarten)
  20.  
  21. a light blue tunic that ties at the sides and has 2 pockets in front.  It
  22. is worn over other clothing, and the only insignia is the Daisy Girl
  23. Scout Pin.  There are many optional accessories - hair ornaments, earrings,
  24. socks, tights.

  26. Brownies (ages 6-9, grades 1-3)

  28. Brown jumper or pants or shorts, white blouse with brownie print, orange
  29. snap tie, belt, belt purse, brown knee socks/orange flashes or tights, brown
  30. beanie.  Insignia is worn on brown sash or vest.
  31.  
  32. Juniors (ages 9-12, grades 3-6)
  33.  
  34. Kelly green skirt, pants, or shorts, white blouse with Girl Scout print,
  35. blue snap tie or blue/green/white striped polo shirt, belt, belt purse,
  36. green knee socks/blue flashes, green baseball cap or blue beret, green
  37. vest or sash for insignia.
  38.  
  39. Cadettes (ages 12-15, grades 7-9) and Seniors (ages 15-17, grades 10-12)
  40.  
  41. Royal blue pants or skirt, blue/green/white striped blouse, reversible
  42. green (Cadettes) and blue (Seniors) tie, royal blue sash or vest for
  43. insignia.

  49. navy wool skirt and blazer, white blouse, nice navy tie with narrow green/white
  50. stripe, or green skirt or blue pants and white shirt with blue and green
  51. stripes, assorted scarves, jewelneck blouse with interesting blue and green
  52. dot print, or green coatdress.  The combinations are endless.

  56. navy wool blazer, men's tie in the same fabric as the women's tie, white
  57. shirt.
