  12. Eagle Palms are awarded for incriments of 5 Merit badges over the
  13. required number for Eagle, it does not matter how many the candidate may 
  14. already have. Should a candidate have (say) 31 MB,
  15. he would only have to wait out the time requirement from his
  16. Eagle BofR in order to get a Palm awarded. It is possible, if
  17. the Court of Honor is delayed a significant peiod of time, that
  18. the Eagle and some Palms may be awarded the same night.
