  11. At what age do most people start running the marathon? I have always wanted to  run it ,but have been told not to as I am only 17! Having read about the twins  from America who ran the marathon at a very young age ,I would be interested to know if it effected their bones/growth in any way ? At the moment I run middle  distance.
