- Someone mentioned blowing up mailboxes a couple of weeks ago, using a
- 2 Liter plastic bottle, Aluminum foil and Hydrochloric Acid (HCl). HCl reacts
- with the foil, forming Hydrogen gas, which causes the capped bottle to burst.
- I'm assuming that the kids were using Drano (Sodium Hydroxide) to dissolve
- the foil, since Drano will also dissolve Aluminum and liberate Hydrogen.

- Mailboxes, huh? Sheesh! Well, maybe the Postal Service can also
- charge the little urchins for putting something in the mailbox without a
- stamp.
