  21. I am not sure this counts but I'll try it anyway. There is a city in southern
  22. Arizona named NOGALES. Across the international border in Mexico, there is a
  23. city named NOGALES also. Now, I'm not sure if they were the same city before
  24. and were divided up or if they started out separately.

  26. Now, in Southern California there are two cities bordering each other that
  27. have interchangeable syllables in their names. The places I'm thinking of are
  28. CLAREMONT and MONTCLAIR. I know the spelling is different but I think you
  29. understand my point. Are there other places in the country with this
  30. distinction? What about the world?

  32. Sidenote: Also in Southern California, there is CALEXICO and across the
  33.           border in Mexico, there is MEXICALI.
