- Aikido entries can work very well against kicks, and once you have
- entered, there are the usual variety of techniques you can perform. The
- main problem with Aikido and kicks is that we don't practice entering on kicks
- very much. The other problem is that since we don't teach kicks in Aikido,
- its hard to find an uke who kicks well enough to provide more than just ele-
- mentary practice. I've approached the problem by working out at another
- that teaches a kicking art. The biggest difficulty I've found is learning to
- read the kick soon enough to enter effectively.
