  15. Well, the accounts vary, but one account has the founder of Hapkido (Choi,
  16. Yong Sool) defining Hap as meaning "total martial arts, different martial
  17. arts combined".  This because Choi considered Hapkido to be a combination of
  18. a refined (obviously debatable) Ju-Jitsu and Taekyun.
