- I think the law applies to the sale/purchase of native game taken
- under our various game laws. I believe all the venison sold in this
- country is farm-raised, here and abroad. Anybody know different?
- Quite a few restaurants offer venison these days--at least ritzy,
- nouvelle, ladeedah types out here seem too--well, maybe that is too
- disparaging--A down-to- earth restaurant in Mountain View, Caribbean
- something-something, has had gator, pronghorn, and moose on the menu.
- There is also a butcher in San Bruno who has a variety of venison
- (broadly defined) available.
