  15. I apologize for my previous post of loads for my .45 ACP;
  16. my memory is worse than I thought, and I had the wrong
  17. bullet listed in my posting!  (There is no Hornady 185 gr.
  18. LSWC . . .  OOPS!)

  20. You know what they say, the two signs of old age are
  21. FIRST you start losing your memory, and SECOND, uh, um,
  22. I can't remember.        ;-)

  24. Here's a poor load for the SIG P-220:
  25.  
  26.     185 gr. Hornady JHP/XTP
  27.     5.4 gr. Bullseye
  28.     CCI 300  WWC case
  29.     OAL = 1.230 in.
  30.  
  31. This is the load the range officer fired without problem
  32. in his .45 GLOCK.

  34. The worst load of all those I tried is this one:

  36.     200 gr. Hornady LSWC (#4526)
  37.     5.8 gr. Unique
  38.     CCI 300  WWC case
  39.     OAL = 1.235 in.
  40.  
  41. Jammed on almost every round out of 10; slide didn't lock back
  42. on last round.  Last night I used the Midway impact bullet
  43. puller to help me replace the powder in the remaining 40 rounds
  44. with 5.1 gr. of HP-38.
  45.  
  46. Here's one GOOD LOAD for the SIG P-220:
  47.  
  48.     200 gr. Speer JHP ("flying ashtray")
  49.     5.5 gr. Bullseye
  50.     CCI 300  WWC case
  51.     OAL = 1.176 in.
  52.  
  53. This one produced a couple of 2.5 inch 5-shot group at 50 yards.  
  54. As always, you reloaders out there should always consult an 
  55. "official" reloading manual before trying any of these loads.
