  19. This is, to me, a bizzare concept!  I've hung out with cops a bunch
  20. and, at least in N. Calif, it has been often stressed that even if
  21. they are out of uniform and 'off duty' that they were a cop 24 hours
  22. a day.  AND that their departments expected them to be prepared/armed
  23. at all times...

  25. The image of a cop taking off his work cloths, hanging up his gun, and
  26. punching the time clock, walking out the door and seeing a rape in
  27. progress and thinking 'Gee, someone should call 911' is just bizzare ...
