- This is, to me, a bizzare concept! I've hung out with cops a bunch
- and, at least in N. Calif, it has been often stressed that even if
- they are out of uniform and 'off duty' that they were a cop 24 hours
- a day. AND that their departments expected them to be prepared/armed
- at all times...
